A few months ago, on the recommendation of cauchy09, I bought a couple sets of Knitpicks DPNs. Generally speaking, I think I prefer the feel of wood or bamboo. And I really don't like the click-y sound of the metal against metal. But then I am liking how the stitches glide easily over the metal dpns--especially nice for casting on quickly. This morning I used my Knitpicks dpns to cast on for Madder Ribbed Socks from Knitting Vintage Socks. Not that I needed to start another pair of socks.
