Punked

Recently, our two parakeets Rocky and Gino went through a molt--always an extravagant process. It's hard to believe that two tiny birds have that many feathers to lose. When the new feathers come in, they're like tiny spikes, and it looks like the birds have little punk hair dos. Here's a picture of Gino punking out. You can kind of see the spikes in the white feathers on his head.
